That is what MyBizBOSS stands for, and it is a fair description of the job. We build software for the part of a construction business that does not get photographed.
Why we are building this
Construction time tracking has a specific shape that general-purpose tools keep getting wrong. A crew member works three jobs in a week. Two different supervisors need to approve different parts of the same timecard. A new hire shows up on site on Tuesday and does not exist in the accounting system until the following Monday. Payroll has a deadline regardless.
Most tools solve the easy half — capturing hours — and hand the hard half back to the office as a spreadsheet to reconcile and re-key. MyBizBOSS is built around the hard half: the approval chain, the exceptions, the audit trail, and getting clean data into Sage 300 CRE without somebody typing it twice.
Where we are today
We will be straight with you, because you will find out anyway: MyBizBOSS is early. We have a pilot customer underway and we are actively looking for a small number of additional contractors to build alongside.
What that means in practice: you get direct access to the people building the product, your problems land at the top of the list, and we are not going to pretend to be a bigger company than we are. What it also means is that we are still filling in edges, and you should weigh that.
No customer logos on this page. We have one pilot underway and we are not going to dress that up as a client roster. When we have customers who are happy to be named, they will appear here — and not before.
How we think about the product
One codebase, one data model, three product lines. A customer on Core is running the same software as a customer on Core+ Connect — just with less of it switched on. That means moving up a line is a configuration change, not a migration, a re-implementation, or a fresh round of data entry.
It also means we are not maintaining three divergent products and quietly letting the cheap one rot.
Integration, stated plainly
MyBizBOSS integrates with Sage 300 CRE. That is the integration we have built and the one we support. We are not going to imply a catalogue of connectors we do not have. If you run a different accounting system, ask us — we would rather tell you we are not a fit today than sell you a project.
